If you hate spare change as much as I do, you get it out of your pocket as soon as physically possible. Now those annoying piles of metal can earn you credit in the iTunes Store. Coinstar – maker of those green machines in grocery stores that change your change into cash for a fee – will give you an iTunes gift card for your spare pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.

According to Adam Angst, Apple will also cover the 8.9% fee that Coinstar usually collects.

I say why not, since we all spend money in the App Store anyways.
