i-Fukkin iPhone App Is Probably Not What You Think It Is
BY Tyler Tschida on app exercise iphone ipod touch new release

AppAdvice obviously doesn’t condone the use of offensive words and neither does Apple, so what in the world could an app name like i-Fukkin possibly stand for? Any guesses?
“Fukkin” according to the app’s description means “abdominal muscle” in Japanese. The app is actually intended to motivate you to do sit-ups by not only counting them for you, but by also having a Japanese cheerleader encourage you throughout the process. The app also contains two different modes and some sort of Twitter related functionality, but honestly, it’s just so very difficult to look past its name and care about the functionality.
So, either the name was chosen deliberately to garner some attention, or it was simply lost in translation. No matter which conclusion you come to, feel free to check out the video embedded below demonstrating the app in action.
